"The New Action Film from Ana de Armas Makes Up for No Time to Die"

In their new film The Gray Man, the Russo Brothers discuss fulfilling Ana de Armas' No Time to Die potential. With her performance in Rian Johnson's murder mystery Knives Out, De Armas became a star and an Oscar nominee. She then capitalized on her newfound celebrity by co-starring with Daniel Craig in the James Bond film No Time to Die.

Many felt that de Armas was underutilized in the Bond movie, despite the fact that she undoubtedly made an impact as the CIA operative Paloma in No Time to Die. Even the idea of breaking the long-standing no-spinoff rule and giving Paloma her own film has been floated for the Bond series. The majority of people concur that de Armas' performance helped the Craig era Bond totally break away from the series' traditional and sometimes humiliating Bond lady cliches, despite the fact that she was relatively underutilized in No Time to Die.

De Armas will next reteam with Knives Out co-star Chris Evans in the action movie The Gray Man, which also stars Ryan Gosling, after assisting James Bond in making his transition into the twenty-first century. Evans is once again collaborating with the Russo Brothers on Gray Man, who previously directed him in four MCU movies, including two Captain America films. Anthony Russo addressed the issue of de Armas and her action potential when Screen Rant recently spoke to the Russos about Gray Man. He agreed that it was crucial to give the star the opportunity to fully develop in an action role following No Time to Die. He stated:
